The 'gang of four' applause

25 January 1981

Four members formerly from the Labour Party are starting a new political party.  A time for change indeed.  Breakaway - and they pledged to set up the 'council for social democracy'

And what do you know - the documents published as the Limehouse Declaration call for a rehash and realignment of British politics - Something that Gordon Brown was trying his hand at today which resulted in several MPs and Ministers resigning.

The odd switch of the nation from liberals to Conservatives seems staggering when stated simply.  However the conservative party actually has more liberal policies than the liberals.  Its all gone wrong - but maybe this is the opportunity to do something right

This 'gang of four' in 1981 was composed of MPs Shirley Williams, Roy Jenkins, William Rodgers and David Owen.  In an interview Shirley Williams stated - about the Labour Party - that they felt the character of the party had changed and that it would take 'something exceptional' and 'something really out of the ordinary' that would convince them that the Party has a chance of winning back the power.

Well what have we seen today?

The polls were in and seems like the country has lost faith in the Labour Party - Tory Party celebrates and their Tory Glory and a landslide victory.

What the country needs is a stable and not a sketchy government.  We need a leader someone who can inspire and not someone like Gordon Brown who even beats around the bush on the topic of whether or not he had the balls to fire one of his ministers.

I applaud the 'gang of four' for taking initiative and breaking away for it resulted in success.

What have we learned?

Digging Into History

The government in the United Kingdom is in shambles.  A simple headline but one that could change this nation forever.  Polls have gone in and the eminent election which will no doubt be held in the next year could probably see the government switch from Labour to a conservative government.  The first time in 28 years.

Gordon Brown's victory today was still having a roof over his head as well as appointing Alan Sugar as one of his ministers.  So now we have the business entrepreneur of 'The Apprentice' about to sit down at the house of lords.  Does this sound a little bit far fetched?  But who knows.  A time for change for sure and - fingers crossed - a good one.

So what was going on 28 years ago.

And so here it is...

It all starts somewhere.  So here it is.  Launch the idea - this is the first thing to do. Just like a recipe.  Spread the butter on the toast generously and relish that delight.

Every system and idea has a place to start and the only thing you have to do is pick that place.
For me it was charity - and many opportunities arose.

That is where it started and that is where projects have developed.
The one thing in this business is to remember is that reputation can take you from the ground all the way to the top of that mountain.  Do that job well.  Do that job right. Because the word of mouth is all you need to keep that chain building.  Once someone knows that what you do is worth the time and effort in contacting you - then you have a solid relationship.  A system with which to work.  And a journey without limits.

That's right.  A new start every time but its all in...

Bright sparks

Bright sparks light the way for those who have lost it.  Flashing signs as plain as day.  But day or night they should not go unnoticed.  There are code breakers, interpreters, translators, inspectors.  Above all are the senders.

Is a simple question not one which hath an answer? And just so. More questions arise. It seems that time passes slowly – however when the mind has found something to keep it wondering; it never feels the need to do so - but wants to because there are more stairs to climb and mountains to conquer. What did you ask today?

All it takes is one conversation. The words are made. And once spoken they form. A whole new level of understanding – instinct. Have you ever thought what would happen if one day you changed your name. What that could mean – what that could become. The future doesn't always hold to the same - but with the right instinct, the understanding is there and a new future can be written.  The first step is finding out where the new future and thus the new history came from and where it will be going.

Extrange from the unknown.

Teaching yourself how something works is not elementary. But in the end it means only one thing. The symbol that curves in every ones mind is a reality. A solid state that has the world at its finger tips. But discovery is never too far around the corner. Let it all sink in. There is.....

In the beginning

Long long ago something started. A process. Instigation - a name and thing. Thoughts plans and all sorts of action. What I am about to write does not exist to the naked eye. You walk through a new city and experience a facade of buildings. Empty streets and tinted windows. Club crawling, bar hopping - with the right crowed there is so much possible. Bring the people to the people. You want to bring people to yourself then help them find others. There is a world of infinite out there. With the right start and idea there is a huge possibility for growth. All simply - the demand for greatness has arrived. Potential insights are helpful. And a mind always at work has found a ceiling that is not made of glass but of clouds. Undoubtedly some will want to join for the ride – but what puts out much also put in for the best return possible. This is the start of something new. That has already been done. But a new part of history is exactly what the world needs because times change. Times change in a way that only makes sense to those that the take time to realize it. So think about it – when was the last time you thought to yourself?

When was the last time you stood above the clouds?
